It all comes down to something called the Law of Attraction, a theory popularized by Rhonda Byrne’s 2006 book The Secret (and, well, Oprah). Basically, it says: “What we think about, we bring about.” It’s the idea that we can attract anything we want into our lives by visualizing our desired results, using affirmations, expecting good things to happen, being appreciative, and taking inspired action.

Affirmations are positive statements that describe a desired situation or goal, and are often repeated, in order to get them impressed on the subconscious mind. Repeating them motivates, inspires, and programs the mind to act according to the repeated words.
There are only so many ways you can say it: Conceive, believe, achieve. Know what you want, believe you can get it, make it yours by exerting confidence and positivity. You can also look at this like the concept of paying it forward: If you do something good, the universe will pay you back, and the feedback loop continues.
