I was once where you are so I totally get ya’. After suffering from a myriad of challenges from general anxiety about life to Lyme disease, endometriosis and every autoimmune disease under the sun, I ended up on a search for something deeper than a “fix”. I went to many alternative practitioners – but I couldn’t relate to a single one of them. As a very grounded-in-reality person, many were just too ‘woo woo’ for me and I couldn’t integrate their guidance into my very real-life, life. Then I found myself on an adventurous path of emotional healing — using energy therapy. Talk about ‘woo woo’ right? But with it, I learned. I unfolded. I let go.

1. START SAYING NO. This applies to anything that’s not a “hell yes” in your life. Anytime you’re people-pleasing or doing something because you think you should be, or settling, what you’re communicating energetically and projecting is: “I’m not worth doing what I want” or “I don’t feel valuable enough to do what I want, therefore I’m going to keep staying small.” Whenever you’re in that mode, you’re just going to keep attracting the same lessons over and over and over again. Create boundaries and say no to what’s not a yes. That’s the number one thing somebody can do right away.

Great post. I think your mom would know about the actual benefit of mindful meditation. Meditation gives you freshness, the freshness of the present and makes you forget about the bad incidents of past. Meditation is the best stress buster. A 20 minute meditation(mindful) releases all your stress up to that minute. Meditation makes you focus on your work(present work, whatever work it is). Forget about past, regrets of past and everything.
